The iDrive control concept for the BMW 6 Series Coupé.

Maximum usability, minimum complexity: iDrive in the BMW 6 Series Coupé sets clear priorities. Controls for frequently used features - indicators, wipers, radio and telephone for example - are positioned around the steering wheel. Secondary functions - the address book, the navigation system, etc. - are accessed via the iDrive Controller, with information displayed on the bright, high-contrast Control Display. Eight "favourite" buttons can be freely programmed: for example, to speed-dial a number, tune to a radio station or set a navigation address.
