BMW Advanced DVD system in the BMW X3.

The perfect travel companion: BMW's DVD system enables you to play DVDs and audio CDs in your X3. Gaming consoles or video cameras can be attached easily via the RCA socket. The optional Advanced DVD system includes 7-inch, anti-glare colour screens integrated into the front seats and a six-disc DVD changer in the boot. An infra-red remote control and two cordless stereo headphones are also included in the package.

All BMW X3 models come equipped with the Radio BMW CD audio system as standard: 4 x 25 watt power output and power insert/eject CD drive. The optional radio BMW Business CD delivers equal power along with antenna diversity, an auxiliary socket and a connection for a CD changer.

It only takes a few kilometres to realise just how snugly the M leather steering wheel fits in the driver's hands. The thumbrests and highly contoured rim make the wheel easy to grip and a pleasure to turn. The shortened gearshift lever is also sheathed in leather ensuring dynamic driving with every gear change.

BMW Junior Seat I - II in the BMW X3.

BMW provides innovative safety solutions for its youngest passengers with the BMW Junior Seat I - II. The child seat specially designed for vehicles with the ISOFIX mounting system consists of a height-adjustable and inclinable seat as well as a seat hook. The seat is suitable for children who weigh 9 to 18 kg (seatbelts are used to secure children weighing 18 to 26 kg) and is available in the following designs: grey/blue and Formula 1.
