Front apron
The front apron with large BMW kidney grille ensures a strong presence on the road. In addition, the lower air intakes are framed by dynamically designed Air Blades, which optimise the aerodynamics of the vehicle and emphasise the sporty-elegant character of the sedan.
BMW Laserlight
In speed-dependent laser high-beam mode, BMW Laserlight illuminates a range that is nearly twice as far as other headlights, increasing safety through improved visibility. Blue accents and "BMW Laser" lettering visually indicate the technology. This equipment includes Adaptive headlights and BMW Selective Beam (dazzle-free High-beam assistant).
Air Breather
The Air Breather underlines the sporty-elegant character of the vehicle and ensures optimum airflow in the wheel arch area. Together with the front apron and the large BMW kidney grille, the sedan shows a strong presence on the road.
Rear apron
The newly designed rear apron, the narrow reflectors and the trapezoidal tailpipe trims placed far to the outside make the rear appear wide and present. The flat LED rear lights and the narrow light strip between the lighting units also emphasise the wide-ranging effect of the sedan.

The two-part LED rear lights have rear light, brake light, reversing light, rear fog lamp and direction indicator in LED technology. The reflectors are integrated into the left and right bumper segments. A narrow light strip between the lighting units emphasises the width of the vehicle.
Panorama glass roof
When open, the Panorama glass roof provides a great deal of fresh air. Closed, it creates a bright, light-flooded atmosphere in the interior. It opens and closes completely automatically at the push of a button or with the car key, and is equipped with slide and lift functions, roller sunblind and wind deflector.

Ambient highlight
The Ambient highlight along the B-pillars creates a comfortable feel-good atmosphere for the rear passengers. The soft light can be switched on and off via a button and creates a pleasant mood not just in the dark. Even when activated, the monitors in the rear can be used glare-free.
Stainless steel loading sill
The wide stainless steel loading sill sets an elegant accent and additionally enhances the luggage compartment.
BMW Individual cooling box
The electric BMW Individual cooling box is located in the luggage compartment and can be opened from the passenger area when the rear centre arm-rest is folded down. Its approximately 15-litre capacity provides space for e.g. two bottles (0.5 litre) and a champagne bottle (0,375 litre). Easily removable, so the full luggage compartment capacity can be quickly made available whenever needed.
Executive Lounge
The Executive Lounge offers the highest degree of comfort and the best all-round view for the rear passenger on the front passenger side. The seat features a massage function and various adjustment possibilities that make travelling extremely relaxing. It provides maximum leg room and features a footrest on the back of the front passenger backrest, creating a comfortable resting position.

Top performance comes in many forms – this is why the BMW 7 Series Sedan provides a spectrum of engines. In addition to the BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder power unit. As a plug-in hybrid, the vehicle is also extremely efficient. The interplay between the 6-cylinder engine, the electric drive and the high-voltage battery of the latest generation results in maximum performance accompanied by improved consumption values.
Electric motor
The central component of the drive train in the hybrid transmission is the electric motor. Within the scope of the hybrid functions and in addition to the 6-cylinder petrol engine the e-drive ensures comfortable, pure electric driving up to 140 km/h. When braking and coasting, the e-drive converts the braking energy into electric energy and stores this in the high-voltage battery.

The new generation BMW TwinPower Turbo 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine guarantees maximum driving pleasure. It is notable for its agile power delivery as well as for its outstanding responsiveness even at low engine speeds, while also being fuel efficient and low in emissions.
