The 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic offers numerous shifting options: extremely dynamic, particularly comfortable and smooth, fuel-saving. You can shift manually using the gear lever or the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel, or select one of three automatic programmes using Drivelogic.

With the adaptive M chassis with variable shock absorber adjustment, the characteristics of the chassis can be individually adjusted – from comfortable to particularly sporty with pronounced agile handling. With Driving Experience Control, you can adapt the electronically controlled chassis quickly and easily to the road conditions and driving situation.

Compact proportions and clear contours define the characteristic design of the BMW M2 Coupé. In the style of the BMW 2002, the headlights are implemented as individual units.

As part of the intelligent lightweight construction concept, the M Carbon roof significantly helps to reduce the vehicle's weight. Thanks to its carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) design, it is around 6 kg lighter than a comparable roof made of steel. This shifts the vehicle’s centre of gravity downwards and increases driving dynamics.[1]

The muscular wheel housings and the typical M wheel arches emphasise the broad and powerful stance of the new BMW 2 Coupé on the road, conveying its power and athleticism impressively to the outside. The rear lights reveal a completely new interpretation of the characteristic L-shape as they spread pulsatingly to the sides.

The optional M Carbon bucket seat with illuminated M2 logo and M colour accents combines the lightness and racing character of a bucket seat with the range of functions of an M sport seat. Its fit provides optimum lateral support and high long-distance comfort. The seat is compatible with multipoint harnesses and therefore fully suitable for racing.[2]

With the M leather steering wheel, you can enjoy a sporty, direct steering feel and conveniently retrieve the preset M Drive configurations at the touch of a button.

The one-piece, fully digitalBMW Widescreen Display provides information on your BMW over a large area and clearly arranged. It combines a 12.3” instrument display with a touch-capable 14.9” Control Display. Operation is ergonomically optimised and intuitive. The curved, almost free-floating design looks both sophisticated and modern.

BMW Live Cockpit Professional with its large curved display expands BMW Live Cockpit Plus with a full-colour head-up display. This projects driving information such as speed or navigation instructions directly into the field of vision – for a better overview and more safety.

The BMW Operating System 8 simplifies vehicle operation, e.g. by voice and touchscreen. The highlight is the M-specific design: Content in 2D ensures the best recognisability; the M logo can be found in the presentation of the content. The two M modes ROAD and SPORT create an individual, emotional driving experience.

With the wireless charging tray, you can charge your smartphone on the go wirelessly and therefore extremely conveniently. In the extended storage area, there is also room for larger devices – within easy reach and without annoying covers and cables. The inductive charging system also has built-in cooling to protect your devices from overheating.

With smartphone integration, your vehicle supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto using a wireless connection from your mobile device.

The safety package Driving Assistant includes front collision warning with braking function, Speed Limit Assist including Speed Limit Display with no-overtaking indicator and pre-warning as well as rear crossing traffic warning. Lane Departure Warning and Lane Change Warning with active return, as well as rear collision warning complete the features.
