The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features superior power delivery and the striking characteristic M engine sound. Two mono-scroll turbochargers, direct High-Precision Injection, fully variable valve control and variable camshaft control ensure outstanding performance.

With its large track width and broadly flared wheel arches, the suspension is optimised specifically for M. It maximises sporty handling and significantly increases the performance and response of the new M3 Competition Touring.

BMW M xDrive with Active M Differential guarantees maximum traction and driving dynamics for everyday driving, as well as at the racetrack. The M specific technology combines the typical agility of a rear-wheel drive with the control of an all-wheel drive. You can choose between the drive variants 4WD, 4WD Sport and – in DSC-off mode – 2WD.

The rear of the new BMW M3 Competition Touring is defined by the distinct rear bumper with diffuser and the twin tailpipes on either side.

The BMW M Compound Brake system meets the highest demands in terms of driving dynamics and deceleration and is, therefore, the ideal choice for all sporty drivers.

The optional M Carbon bucket seat with illuminated M3 logo combines the racing character of a bucket seat with the comfort of an M sport seat. It is lighter, electrically adjustable and has visible carbon surfaces. The backrest and seat bolsters have cut-outs for multi-point belts and the head pad can be removed for driving with a helmet.

Full leather 'Merino' X3SW (optional) with partial perforation, contrast stitching in Black Grey and Alcantara accent stripes in Grey.

The M Carbon steering wheel provides a racing feel. The carbon-fibre trim strips in the spokes surround the operating elements and complement the high-quality feel of the steering wheel. The racing-tested material fits the dynamically designed interior visually, too.

BMW Live Cockpit Professional with its large curved display expands BMW Live Cockpit Plus with a full-colour head-up display. This projects driving information such as speed or navigation instructions directly into the field of vision – for a better overview and more safety.

The M gear selector switch features an M specific switch pattern and excellent operability. In manual "S" mode, the driver can shift gears manually using the selector lever or the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel in typical M fashion; in "D" mode, shifting occurs automatically. The Drivelogic switch and the P button are placed under the M logo.

The M Performance seat back gives the seats a high-quality racing sport look. The carbon fibre head restraint trims have been finished in polyurethane paint and polished to a high gloss. The remaining back panel consists of fine Alcantara. With integrated aluminium M Performance badge.

Breathtaking for the ears: The M Performance exhaust system fascinates with an uncompromising motorsport sound. The silencer and the sporty tailpipe module are made entirely in race-grade titanium.

Moving design. The M Performance roof spoiler is made of PUR in black high-gloss, an elegantly athletic accent for the rear of the vehicle. At the same time, it contributes to optimised aerodynamics. The spoiler is perfectly tailored to the vehicle design and can be painted in the body colour.

The BMW rear bicycle rack Pro 2.0 is lightweight yet sturdy and can carry up to 60 kg. Outstandingly easy to handle, it can transport two bicycles or e-bikes (can be extended to accommodate three bicycles). Its tilt function allows easy access to the luggage compartment at any time.

The modern roof box in black with titanium silver side panels has a capacity of 520 litres and is compatible with all BMW roof rack systems. Due to the fact that it can be opened from both sides and has triple central locking on each side it is convenient to load and lock for theft protection.
